“Drops” Rains on Hwy 203
This is the latest installation on Hwy 203 near Fay Road. I have often used "drops" in my work to represent rain or the movement of water. In this case it loosely symbolizes the the "watershed"…Rains and snow melt moving down from the highlands to the Valley by stream and rivers coursing through the landscape to the confluence with the sea. It is probably one of my favorites so far.
I drive school bus in the Duvall-Carnation area and we are all in love with your art. It is like an Easter Egg hunt. You are bringing so many smiles to so many people! Thank-you, thank-you-thank-you!!!!!!!!! 🙂
[this is good] wow, thanks for the comment. I have talked to a few school bus drivers who have stopped by the side of the road to tell me how much they like the work. It certainly makes sense that they world of the “opportunity” to see most if not all of the installations. I am thinking of doing one specifically for the you bus drivers. You are most frequent “customers”….I am going to cruise carnation today to find a suitable spot. Thanks again.
[this is good] My husband and I both noticed and commented on your work to one another. We both really enjoyed spying them around our neighborhood and I can not wait to tell him about your site. We had our home completely destroyed by the wind storm in Dec. of 06. A huge cottonwood tree fell on us at 3 am. Luckily no one was hurt but wind and trees have become a theme for our lives.
